Hunting blind located at north east side of the lake near the dam. This wishbone shaped lake has its dam facing the Northeast. The northern arm is a bit more narrow, but both arms are generally fairly shallow with most of the water less than 4 feet. Birds tend to prefer to land either in front of the blind (near the North corner of the dam), or in the Northern arm of the lake. Expect a mixed bag on this lake, with Green-Winged Teal, Gadwall, and Ringnecks being the most common species. There are homes about 300 yards above the lake, so please be respectful when entering the property in the wee hours of the morning and dim your headlights.

Set up kaddy corner on opposite side to blind as that's where the birds wanted to be last 2 times only to watch them peckerheads go to the blind. No shots fired….well except 1 to scare off the 2 100lb…

Had one goldeneye fly on a beeline over the spread and was harvested. Then a group of 3 GE decoyed and one was harvested. Saw 3 different groups beelining it to the northern lake/pond on a different property and didn't look interested…
