Briar Branch lake is 8 acres and hosts many migratory waterfowl throughout the winter months. This lake is well known to hold lots of puddlers, divers, and geese. Now, PWH has the pleasure of sharing some of this fantastic waterfowl hunting! The lake is just a few miles from the city center and about an hour from both Dallas and Fort Worth.

There is a jon boat available that you may use to set decoys, retrieve birds or cross the lake to reach the blind. No trolling motor, batteries, or paddles are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.

This lake is on an active cattle ranch, so please be sure to lock the gate behind you.

Saw maybe 10-15 total had a couple that may have worked it was a tough hide kind of morning. Got 2 to finish and we put them down.
