Hunt Date: Jan 14 – Good 2 or 3 dozen ducks came into the lake at one time or another.  Mainly in small groups.  They like to hang out in the middle of the lake near the dam.  Go figure.  Did harvest 1scaup.  Should have had a few more, but I was alone and tryng to work my jerk rig and di did not pick up my gun quikly enough.  Nothing really ever wanted to set their wings and land in my decoys so I had to be fast.  Still always a great time out with my dog.
