My son chose to sleep in so I was solo, otherwise more birds would’ve been harvested. Shot bluebill just after shooting light that set up near my decoys. 20 minutes later I harvested a gadwall that was part of a decent sized group, bad shooting by me or I would’ve had at least a pair. That was it for the day for kills, but saw dozens of birds settling up in the middle of the lake and at the opposite end. Never could get them in range, but no complaints, pretty good action on a COLD morning.
