I was really surprised at how slow it was today. We saw a few birds at shooting light but nothing close enough to shoot.  Then it was completely dead.  We saw only one bird for the next 2 hours.  Since there was no action, we decided to pack up because it was starting to get pretty windy. Of course, after we had packed everything away, five came in and landed on the pond.  However, it didn't matter because they were not close enough to shoot.  One more week...
