There was a thin layer of ice on the shallow parts of the lake but mostly open water. I hunted the blind on the east side of the lake. I saw 5 ducks flying around 7 AM but they didn’t land. Three ducks landed on the south end of the lake around 8 AM. I walked over and harvested 1 gadwall. I saw 6 more ducks flying around 10 AM but they didn’t land.
