When we arrived, the entire lake had a sheet of ice. We had to break open a section to put a handful of decoys out. Had 5 land in the spread before shooting light. From shooting light for about 30 minutes it was chaos. Birds were flying all over the lake and buzzing our spread. Several groups committed. We managed to take 6 total. After the intitial chaos it pretty much shut off. A few low passes by several groups but not much interest. We passed on a group of teal that decoyed late.
