It started snowing on us the minute we rolled up. We saw about 10 birds today, but only 2 came close enough to shoot. The neighbor came by to say "Hi” and give us the bird his dog retrieved for us. Super  nice guy. Great day in the snow. Just wished we would have seen more birds. We decided to call it a day when the thunder came through.  We saw a ton of birds on the local ponds so hopefully these up coming weeks will be good.
