Good setup, easy in/out. The morning started with some cold rain but went away quickly. Just after sunrise we had six mallards circle 20 yards outside of our spread. They left and came back but not quite in shooting range. We might have had a shot on their first pass but it was suspect, unfortunately that was our best chance so we were skunked. This may be a good spot as the season goes on with some colder weather.
