Slow morning out on Tara. 
 

Hunted from the blind with a crosswind, ideal setup would've been the opposite side of the lake near the dam, but I don't believe we are allowed to hunt there. 
 

Had two groups of four ring-neckeds come in over the morning, and got 3 drakes in total. All pretty far pass shots though. Setup a j-hook with the decoys, but couldn't quite get them to park in our spread, although they were definitely interested in it. Also had a lone mallard drake work, but he eventually landed near the dam after flying way off into the distance a few times. 
 

Need a cold snap soon to get birds down here, seems like everyone in this club is having pretty much the same luck at all of the lakes, save a couple of outliers (according to the other reports.)
