Hunted south west of the pond 

Saw 3 teal that I missed a very quick shot at. After that just enjoyed  a beautiful  sunrise and watched all the little  birds flying around. 

Gave up hunting. Pulled  the truck up the my blind and started picking  up decoys. My bag, shells and gun were cased and back by the truck. I was 10 to 15 yards into the water and mud not even wearing a shirt ( because it was hot ) when I heard geese honking. I had 2 goose decoys  out. So I waded back grab the gun and #2 shot from my bag. Went back and squatted beside  my bucket seat and start honking  at 2 geese that landed in the middle. Setting  15' in front of my truck  in waders and no shirt blowing a call I've never blown outside before.

I talked back and forth to the birds for 10 to 15min as they slowly  swam my way at 40 to 45 yards I shot the lead one and missed the 2nd. 

1st year I've put out goose  decoys  also 1st goose my dog has ever had to retrieve
