My wife and I are fishing at Twin Lakes Tuesday and with my sons there in March. We'd like to catch, clean and cook crappie caught there. Can anyone share some specifics on the best spots to fish and what lures work best? I've read that East Lake is best but I could sure use some more specific help. Many thanks!

my best crappie fishn on that property has always been on west lake.. i havent been there in a while but caught my crappie in middle while slow troll n jiggn  around ,, catch one id stop and jig the area,, then troll n jig some more

West Lake? That's good to know. Most reports I've read mentioned East Lake for crappie. Thanks for the info!

We recently performed an electrofishing survey at Ben Wheeler - Twin Lakes. We found that West Lake has a much larger population of crappie than East Lake.
