Here is a very general rule of thumb: Of course they are all different, because a thunderstorm can sit right over a watershed for a lake and fill it up in a couple of days. So, what I have written below is very general.
Lakes west of I-35 corridor are very low. (However San Saba is full. Bowie is 25% full, Elm Creek is 25% full, Tarpley is 75% full Cleburne is 3 feet low)
Lakes between I-35 and Tyler are generally low, 2 feet low to 6 feet low (Giddings is overflowing)
Lakes east of Tyler are full.

A week from Sunday I'll have a Timber Lake report but I get the feeling it's not as full as Deer Trail. It seems like it typically lags behind a few feet.

I fished a private 25 acre lake near Mount Pleasant and found the lake was at full pool level. Made me curious about Private Waters lakes in teh region. Any updates on water levels?
