Robert. We also were planning to go to the clay fest (we have been going for the past several years) , but cancelled due to the rain(got over 7 inches so far). Also worked on organizing my tackle.

Suppose to be in Gruene, TX today at the Clay Festival and then San Antonio to see the play "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Got up early and heard they were pumping water on 35 in Hillsboro and Waco. We are too old to sit on top of my truck waiting to be rescued. I went back to bed. Gloria was reprocessing some clay so I started looking at 100 pounds of plastics. Does anyone still use zipper worms? In the 80's they were the hot item. You couldn't even get them. As soon as they were put on the shelf they were gone. I ordered them from the state of Washington if I can remember. Then the next human plastic came out and we all switched like zombies. I still laugh at my friend for using crankbaits with 12 coats of lacquer. Do Bass count? Just a nice day to get things ready for my next trip. I will take some zippers with me. Ring fry is pretty close to the zipper bait. I took two friends that had some major depression going on to Clifton. They weren't catching a thing until I put ring fry on their hooks. Their mood changed and we even laughed a bit. It's a long ride from Clifton to the metroplex.
