Can anyone tell me about the crappie fishing at the lake in Ferris? What works best to catch them? Specific area of the lake to find them? Any feedback is much appreciated. Thanks!

I've caught a couple nice crappie on crankbaits on the point near the dam on the west side, so I suspect there's a brushpile there.  I haven't really tried crappie jigs there.

Thanks Jim! I'll be giving that a shot with the crank baits. I'll also take some jigs out there to see if I have any luck. Will post a report after tomorrow's fishing trip. Thanks again!

lots and lots of aquatic vegetation on the lake. People are still catching fish, but just wanted to let you know it is thick.
