I observed the same thing at Six O a couple months ago; the bass were hammering the flies in the shallows between the grass beds and the shoreline. I couldn't present them with anything they liked better!

I made an observation at Six O the other day. Some day in the future someone will create a dragonfly drone lure. This lure will hover just above the water and the Bass will attack it. I watched a mess of bass jumping out of the water for dragonflies and damsel flies. Not sure how this will happen but if Amazon is thinking about drone home delivery of your order then someone will design and market it. If a bass will attack a buzz bait there is reason to believe that they will attack a miniature drone. I may not see it in my lifetime. When I was a kid a frog lure was a harness that attached to a live frog. Now we have a ton of artificial frog lures that work. I see this lure being cast it lands on the water and then electronically starts hovering above the water. Bam fish on.
