Lake is about 30% full. Little to no rain in the area. Rain 30 miles most any direction around them, but little on the watershed at the ranch. It seems like it is the Bermuda Triangle. You can still fish, but the lake is 1/2 its size or even less. The good news is that the fish have not seen many lures, the bad news is they are fairly stressed; which usually leads to a slow bite. When the lake comes back up and it will, it should be on, with lots of new brush and plankton from all the brush and vegetation.

They got about an inch of rain last night. They need another 10 inches in the next 30 days.

Steve do you have a 1-800 number to the rain Gods.  8.7 inches since the 5th of May.  They might make 10 inches by Monday.  Those surviving Bass will be feasting on new found feeding grounds.

Love all the rain. So many Farmers and Ranchers are dependent. Full lakes do wonder for so many folks. In a week or see, we will update water levels at Bowie, Tarpley and Medina which are the 3 lakes that are still seeing low water. All other lakes in the club are full or within a foot or two of being full.

I was planning a trip to Medina to check the water level. Looking forward to an update.

Cross posting from another discussion.

Just got home and checked the rain gauge - 4.5 inches. I live about 30 miles east of Tarpley and Medina. I hope those locations, especially Medina, got at least that much rain.

Update  - Sunday morning we had another 4 inches  of rain. Total for the week is 11 inches
