Anyone fish Fairfield Lately?

Used to be my favorite lake as it was within an hour of Waco and I did well there.  Last few reports were bad.  Did we figure out what's going on with that tank?  I hope it's back up to speed in 2015.  Fun lake to fish from the shore and owners are very nice.

I'm curious as well. Had my best fishing day ever in club there right after joining almost 3 yrs ago. Almost went down there today but cold front heading in kept me home. Don't believe been fished much recently. In fairly close to it also. VERY curious status of that lake I went last spring only caught few small fish

We do not know if anything has happened to the lake. There have been more slow reports than good reports over the last 9 months.However, we go from people getting skunked in March to someone catching 22 in June to someone getting skunked in July. Without member fishing reports it is really hard to tell. Normally when we have 4 or 5 slowwww reports in a row, we have a problem, but a member caught 22 in June after a couple of slow reports. So, it ruled out a complete fish kill. We have our eye on it and without member feed back it is hard to tell. I would not give up on the lake it has been a consistant producer of quaility fish for 15 years!
