hey steve, i saw a few posts from you today, so i assume you didnt get kidnapped for ransom on your trip.. hope it was great time for yall.. im thinking that you had been in the Amazon..  correct?

We made it back Sunday morning and most of us are still dragging. One guy from out group slept from 3 pm Sunday afternoon to 6 am Monday morning. The trip was grueling, but a ton of fun. I'm not sure you will find a harder fighting or a more pissed off fish. These suckers are angry! In total we caught almost 700 fish, with 49 of them 10 lbs or better, 10 over 15 lbs and 3 over 20 lbs. I will have a longer write up in the next newsletter. But it is a bucket list trip for sure. Below is a 20 lber that John Egan from Houston caught. John actually caught 2 of the 3 fish over 20 lbs. He also caught a 21 lber. The biggest fish was 23 lbs and we averaged 7 fish per man per day.

One of the best parts of the whole trip is that the group all gelled. Having 10 guys who all have the PWF connection made for a cohesive group and a real sense of camaraderie

That looks to be a pretty nice rig you are fishing from. Much nicer than the stereotypical skiffs I've seen in Mexico. 

These are 16 foot all welded aluminum boats. The days of the skiffs are mostly over. In fact, Ron Speed Jr had 12 new 16 foot Express Boats being delivered to Picachos this week.

Seven fish per day sounds pretty slow by PWF standards but that's a crazy number of fish over 10 pounds.  I can't imagine reeling in the angry cousin to the LMB weighing DDs much less 20 pounds!

Eager to hear more.  I'll start saving my money.
