I fished it in the middle of July. First the lake was as full as I can remember in 13 years. Second the flats across the lake from the dock. Nailed some beauties on a black buzz baits. That was a first. Fish plastics on both sides of the old dam. It is the second cove on west side. The flats is the first cove. Mostly watermelon or red shad in color. Now move to the west edge of the third cove after leaving second cove. There is a group of tree trunks. Throw a gizzard shad pattern crank bait. Caught a couple that went 3 maybe 4 pounds. The west side get shader earlier so I work it with top water buzzer or pop-r. Also good along the dam at south end on plastics. Also south east corner and southwest corner always holds a few fish. I hope this gets to you in time.

Taking some guests to 6-O on Saturday morning. Has anyone fished there since August 1? Wondering what the water levels are like now and what's been working.
Thanks,
Steve R.
