Chris-
My son and I did a conversion on a 12’ Lowe aluminum boat 2 yrs. ago. Yours turned out really good compared to ours. By chance, is your rig still available? Trying to talk myself into upgrading….

Hi Charles,
Thanks for the note. The boat is still available. Haven’t posted it up anywhere else. Welcome to come look at it if you’d like. I am in Fort Worth by TCU.

All,
I’m thinking about selling my 14ft Fisher Jon Boat. I thought I would offer to any members here first before sending to the masses via FaceBook Marketplace. This a an old boat I bought in 2019 and completley remodeled specifially for fishing PWF lakes. I did a build thread here in discussions and added the link to it here. https://www.privatewaterfishing.com/forums/view/jon-boat-rebuildconversion-finished-almost Almost everything is new (since 2019 or more recent) on it except the aluminim boat hull and the trailer leaf springs. I have added some pics below. These are all on PWF lakes.
Details/Highlights:
Price: $3,000
14 FT, 1957 Fisher Jon Boat (Have title to the boat)
55 lb thrust Minn Kotas on bow and stern. Have 2 extension handles.
Hummingbird Helix 7 on front deck with ram mount
Noco 2 bank charger
8 ft stake out stick with leash
2 bass-style pedestal seats
2 storage compartments (bow and stern)
Rod holders (each side)
2 Group 27 batteries (1 new, 1 maybe 2 years old)
New trailers tires
New 4,000 lb axle (yes overkill)
New rollers over the bunks
New trailer lights
New winch and floor jack added when I redid boat.
The boat is remarkably dry. No leaks that I know of. If it needed one thing, I would reweld the front panel of the boat.
I’m not leaving the club. My son just bought an old fiberglass boat that he plans to take to college and don’t have room for 2 of these things. Once he heads off to college I might do another builld or get a kayak. Not sure yet.
